As much as these two fight they truly do love each other! I have enjoyed watching the two of them evolve into friends and play buddies. I know the future holds great things for these two brothers.
BIG BROTHER
My little eyes
are watching
All you say and do
And when I grow up
big and tall
I want to be like you.
My little ears
are listening
To everything you say
I am learning how
to grow up
To be like you
someday.
So be careful how
you teach me
To be the person
that you are.
You’re a knight in
shining armor
You’re my brightest
shining star.

Ride 'Em Cowboy!
Saturday was Tyler and Carter's friend, Parker's 2nd birthday party. The kids rode ponies, learned to rope, got to pet bunnies, and feed goats! Carter could not get enough of it, he is definatly NOT my child! Any one who knows me knows I am afraid of pretty much anything that walks on 4 legs! They kids had a blast!
Happy Birthday Parker!!!

Congrats Ryan and Amanda
My sweet cousin, Amanda, got married last night in the most beautiful ceremony and reception. We had so much fun hanging out with family that we do not get to see near enough. Tyler and Carter love hanging out with their cousins Luke and Lauren. Can't wait to see everyone again in July!
This video is great!

What to do....
What do you do when you have a weekend without a birthday party, wedding, or a t-ball game?? Why you go relax at the lake of course!! We headed out early Saturday morning for a fun weekend at Nana and Papas lake house. It was a beautiful 80 something degrees, not a cloud in the sky! We had a fun day full of boating, fishing, smoking some yummy BBQ, playing outside, and making smoars! This is just the beginning of many fun days at the lake this summer!

Congrats Mrs Gomez!!!
Last weekend Brad and I (yes, just the two of us!!!) made a trip to Denton for my good friend from college's wedding! Tyler went with Papa right after his Tball game to go "check on the lake" and Carter went with Nana. Brad and I were free...... we stopped in Salado for a mini shopping trip and a great burger at a local dive, Johnny's. If you ever find yourself hungry in Salado I would recomend this dive! We made it to Denton by about 4ish. We went down to the hot tub, put our feet in (we did not bring a bathing suit) and soaked up some sun before we had to get ready. Then we were off to a beautiful wedding at a beautiful place. We had so much fun talking with old college friends untiil very early in the morning!!! You know if we saw eachother more often we would not have to stay up that late when we do see each other!!!!

Best invention EVER!!!!
Ok, so maybe not ever but pretty darn close! The Radio Flyer Steer and Stroll Bike is awesome!! Brad went out last night to get it for us so this morning Carter had a great surprise! He always wants to get on Tyler's bike and it kills my back to push him around in it. This bike actually makes him feel like he is riding a bike and I get to get much needed exercise! We went on two great walks today!! Thanks daddy!

Look who is TWO today!!
My sweet little baby is 2, where did the time go. After Carter was born, I decided life was too short to be away from my babies while I worked. Brad and I talked and talked about this big decision and decided that putting a new house and new cars on hold for the time being was worth the time I would be able to spend with our boys during their early years. I can tell you it was been the best decision I have ever made. Don't get me wrong, there are times I want to quit my "job", but looking into those beautiful brown eyes make it all worth it!
Carter was, just like his big brother, a stubborn baby and did not want to come out of the comfy home I provided for him in the womb. I was induced on April 8th and it took until right after midnight for him to finally peek his little head out and decide the world would not be so bad after all! He was a whopping 8lb12oz!!
He has grown into a fun loving (most of the time!) little boy who LOVES playing with balls! Just in the past few weeks he has really started talking, although he refuses to say "Nana". I think he does it on purpose to get a rise out of her! The past year has brought many of Carter's first, but I think the most memorial will be his first broken bone! We are still not exactly sure how he did it, but he managed to break his leg and had to wear a cast for 4 weeks! We was a trooper though, he did not let it slow him down!

Dino Digging
We celebrated Carter's 2nd Birthday at an awesome park on an awesome day! Friday was rainy all day, but it cleared up and was a great 70 something day for his party on Saturday morning. Aunt Melissa, Uncle Brian, Landon and Kylie all came in for the big day. Tyler had a Tball game before the party so he had a big cheering section including his cousin, uncles and of course Nanna and Papa! After the game everyone met at the park and the digging began! The kids had a blast playing in the sand, in the water and on the big rocks! We had pizza delivered around 11:30, it was not easy getting the kids up to the pavilion to eat! Then we had some awesome cupcakes made by Lone Star Bakery aka Round Rock Donuts, yummy! Then it was time for presents! Carter got lots of great toys from his best buds and cousins!!!

Our new floors!!
We finally bit the bullet and had wood floors put in this past weekend. Our carpet had had enough after 7 years! Brad just happened to have a golf tourney Saturday, how convenient! so me and the boys had to hang out upstairs all day while the guys were working. I don't know how many of you remember the book Flowers in the Attic, but that is how I felt!!! It was all worth it though, I love the new floors. Now I will be happy here for maybe a year or two!! Then we will either have to do another project or move!
